Thanks for visiting our site.
We hope you’ll visit us at our church in LeRoy!

If you are looking for a church home, or just visiting the area we would love to have you fellowship with us.  Our Sunday morning services are a mix of both traditional and contemporary. We seek to honor the Lord each week as we sing our praises to Him and share the Good News!

Our Mission

  • The preaching and teaching of the Word of God.
  • Encouraging our congregation to develop a closer walk with our Saviour, first by accepting Jesus as our Lord and Saviour and then by growing in our Christian lives.
  • Ministering to our community through childhood and adult outreach programs and activities.
  • Spreading the Gospel in all the earth.
Our Pastor

Ronald W. Bly is Pastor of LeRoy Independent Baptist Church. A native of LeRoy, Ron left the area to attend Practical Bible Training School in Binghamton, New York from 1980-83, majoring in Pastoral Ministries/Bible. From 1982-87 he served as Minister of Youth & Visitation at Calvary Baptist Tabernacle in Vestal, New York until he was called by Draper Baptist Church of Wellsboro, Pennsylvania to serve as Pastor for the next 16 years.

During this time, Ron attended Practical Bible College a second time in 1995, graduating in 2000 with a degree in Religious Education. In 2005, he became Interim Pastor of LeRoy Independent Baptist Church, and the following year accepted a call to become the Pastor of LIBC.

He and his wife, Ruthie, returned home to LeRoy after more than 25 years. On February 5, 2006, Pastor Ron Bly officially began his ministry with an Installation Service held at the church. Pastor Ron and Ruthie have three children: Rodney Weston, Ronald Walker Jr. and Jordan David, all of whom are grown.

“I am so Thankful  for Kidz Jam and the people who care enough to give of themselves for the Kidz! Abigail won’t miss a week!”  Karen Morgan
