Our congregation actively engages in packing shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child each year. These shoe boxes are shipped around the world to children in need along with the good news of Jesus Christ. The church collects the contents for the boxes throughout the year.

Our congregation supports the Endless Mountains Pregnancy Care Center by participating in their yearly baby bottle campaign and helping to supply items that new mothers need to care for their child. Our congregation supports missionaries who are spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ all over the world. Some are in other countries, some are in the United States, and some are right here in our local community.

  • andy & Diane Large

    Ministering to some of the most spiritually needy people of this country (both inner city and professional people), in Managua.  The Larges moved to San Juan del Sur to reach out to those with great spiritual needs in this vacation and fishing seaport city.  It is a challenge as this city is known for its immorality and lack of an understanding of the power of God and Biblical truth.

    Cyndi Grover began her first term as a Gospel Fellowship Association missionary nurse in Foumban, Cameroon in 2010. Today she serves in Islamic countries, spreading the love of Christ through her work.

    Committed to the task of prison evangelism, Hope Aglow Ministries is an organization dedicated to reaching prisoners with the message of Christ’s love. It is a ministry whose goal is not rehabilitation but regeneration.  Garry puts in a lot of miles, and shakes hands with lots of people every day, spreading the message of freedom in Christ for the captives through Hope Aglow.

    Arleah is now retired but for many years she and her husband, Elwin, ministered as a musician at Tucson Mountain Baptist church and Iglesia Bautista del Redentor and worked with teaching Spanish speakers to read and speak English, looking for opportunities to share about Christ.

    We are currently looking for churches to partner with us in the harvest field of Papua New Guinea. There is an intense spiritual battle raging in PNG as satanic strongholds  are being demolished. We need the prayers of God’s people if we are to be a faithful laborers for the Lord Jesus. God and God alone is able to break the power of the devil.  We know without a shadow of a doubt that human strength is no match for the devil.

    Dave and his late wife, Bev, served two terms in Chile, and then three terms in Sydney, Australia. Their ministries involved church planting (both English and Spanish), Bible studies, camp, and Bible Institute. As their sixth term began, they transferred to Home Missions, doing church planting in Florida among Hispanics in the Fort Lauderdale area. Dave currently pastors a church and holds weekly Bible studies. Dave has been supported by LeRoy Independent Baptist Church for many years.

    New Beginnings is a four-month residential faith based regeneration program to assist those addicted by alcohol or drugs to overcome their addiction through regeneration. We believe that through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, an individual can overcome their addictions and become a productive member of the church and the community.

    The Bible Lighthouse was a retail establishment selling Christian curriculum, Bibles, and church supplies.  It also housed a radio station, missionary letter service and press.

  • Dan & Sharon Russell

    Dan Russell and his family serve with CEF which is a Ministry reaching children with the Gospel of Christ. They offer Day Camps, 5 Day Clubs, Good News Clubs, Released Time Classes,& Train Teachers.

  • STEPHEN MAPHOSAH

    Stephen Maphosah’s passion is for the evangelism of children.  In 1990 he joined Awana as a Missionary for Zimbabwe.  He then served as the Regional Ministry Director for East Africa and in 2008 became the Area Director for all of Africa.  Stephen has developed an excellent team of Regional and National Directors who lead this ministry that is growing exponentially across the continent.  Under his leadership the Awana ministry in Africa has grown from 1,000 clubs to more than 16,000 clubs evangelizing and discipling nearly two million boys and girls each week.
